Has any one got a copy of Stargate Atlantis S1, Ep 20?
We recently hired the season ! DVDs for Stargate Atlantis TV series, and the DVDs played up right on the last episode, so we never saw the end. I could buy the whole season, but it seems such a waste of money for one episode. I was hoping someone out there might be able to help. Thanx
Yes, I own the DVDs for seasons 1 – 4. The storyline doesn’t resolve until the first episode of season 2.
In the last episode of season 1, a group of Marines (lead by Colonel Everett) arrive through the gate from Earth, along with more ammunition and supplies. Colonel Everett then relieves Weir of command and states that they are going to defend Atlantis until the Earth ship Daedalus arrives with a ZPM found on Earth. A series of “space mines” are set up to surprise the Wraith when they arrive, but the Wraith destroy the mines and attack Atlantis. They come up with another plan to use remotely controlled Jumpers carrying nuclear bombs to blow up the Hive Ships, and Weir goes to the Genii to ask for more nuclear weapons. Teyla senses that the Wraith have broken into the city so several search teams (including Athosians) are sent out to find them. Weir comes back with the Genii nukes but they find out that their plan to use Jumpers isn’t working (the Jumpers won’t stay powered up long enough). Sheppard decides to fly the Jumper himself and leaves with the weapon, even though it’s a suicide mission. Colonel Everett is attacked and starts to be fed on by a Wraith. Teyla goes missing. Ford and the team he was searching with is surrounded by Wraith soldiers. Weir and McKay start the self-destruct.
